10, 272 cases of waterborne diseases recorded in flood hit states

The Malaysian Ministry of Health has recorded 10,272 cases of waterborne diseases at temporary relief centres in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, and Perak as of of Friday (Dec 6).
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad stated that the cases include Acute Respiratory Infections, skin infections, Acute Gastroenteritis, conjunctivitis, chickenpox, and Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD).
