113 Rohingya refugees released in stages after passing verification check, say cops

The 113 refugees brought to the Kuala Lumpur contingent police headquarters on Tuesday (July 28) have been released in stages and relocated to locations in the federal territory, Selangor and Penang, say police.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus said in a statement on Wednesday (July 29) that the group was released after undergoing final verification checks.
