22 food items placed under Hari Raya price control scheme for 11 days, says minister

A total of 22 food items namely beef, dried foods, seafood and vegetables, will be placed under the Festive Season Maximum Price Control Scheme (SHMMP) from April 26 to May 6, ahead of the coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, said Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister said that on Thursday (April 21), and reminded that the ministry has been enforcing ceiling prices of chicken and chicken eggs to stabilise the prices and ensuring their availability in the market.
