A total of 33 civil servants and 40 Immigration personnel have been investigated in connection with human trafficking.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said that after launching the World Day Against Trafficking of People on Thursday (August 4), adding that the government will not tolerate modern slavery in the country.
Commenting on a report that Malaysia remains at level three (Tier 3) in the United States (US) State Department's Annual Report on Trafficking in Persons 2022, Hamzah explained that his party will document through video recordings on raids and arrests carried out by the authorities.
