36 summonses issued to express bus drivers within 3 days

Road Transport Department (RTD) officers, disguised as passengers on 86 express buses, issued 36 summonses to bus drivers for several offences including using a mobile phone while driving between May 29 and June 2 during the Ops Hari Raya Aidilfitri (HRA) 2019.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, RTD director-general Datuk Seri Shaharuddin Khalid also revealed that three bus drivers tested positive for drugs.
