45,140 vehicles inspected and 6,688 notices issued

The Selangor Road Transport Department (JPJ) issued 6,688 notices following inspections of 45,140 vehicles during Ops Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2026, which ran from March 13 until Sunday (March 29).

During the operation, action was also taken against 1,789 vehicles for various offences under the Road Transport Act (RTA) 1987.

Selangor RTD Director Azrin Borhan said a total of 334 enforcement personnel were deployed at strategic locations throughout the operation period.
