70% of public uni and polytechnic students to be housed on campus by 2035

The Higher Education Ministry aims to provide residential college facilities for at least 70% of full time undergraduate students at public universities and polytechnics by 2035.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the ministry is committed to ensuring students have access to safe, comfortable and conducive accommodation, particularly those from the B40 group.
