A 90-year-old man has beaten coronavirus in Peru, becoming the country's oldest survivor.
Valerio Santa Cruz was discharged from a hospital in Lima on Wednesday.
Medics and his fellow patients applauded the senior citizen as he was taken from the hospital in a wheelchair.
Peru has 12,491 confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Thursday (April 16) with 274 deaths.
