A-G recommends punitive measures against two federal ministries

The Auditor-General of Malaysia has recommended for punitive measures to be taken against the Transport and the Youth and Sports ministries following the tabling of the Auditor-General’s Report (LKAN) 2017 Series 2 in Parliament on Monday.
Auditor-General Tan Sri Madinah Mohamad however clarified that a punitive reprimand does not necessarily mean proof of a wrongdoing by the ministry or agency.
She spoke to the press after briefing the PAC for three and a half hours on the second series report.
