A third of B40 health scheme recipients have non-communicable diseases, says Dr Adham

About 33% of those under the B40 Healthcare Scheme (PeKa B40) were found to have at least one non-communicable disease (NCD), says Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.
The Health Minister said that when presenting the Peka B40 2019-2020 report on Tuesday (July 6), adding that the report showed that out of the 457,462 scheme recipients that underwent health screenings under the scheme, 151,729 were found to be living with NCDs such as diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension as well as mental issues including depression and anxiety.
