Aaron-Wooi Yik to receive over RM200,000 each after winning World Championship, says BAM president

National badminton men's doubles Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik will receive more than RM200,000 each, following their historic success in winning the World Championship in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday (Aug 28).
Badminton Association of Malaysia president Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria upon his arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) from Tokyo, adding that he will also meet the Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, to request the amount of initiatives under the National Sports Incentive Scheme (Shakam) to be added to Aaron and Wooi Yik.
