Abdul Azeez’s counsel: AGC should relook at charges against client

Amer Hamzah Arshad, who represents former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, told reporters on Monday that the Attorney General’s Chambers should look at the charges against his client again after the Court of Appeal raised questions on a possible discrepancy on Abdul Azeez’s income.
The Court of Appeal allowed four of the 13 corruption and money laundering charges to be struck out due to uncertainties on the location where the alleged offences were committed.
