About RM2bil worth of drugs seized nationwide this year

Drugs worth around RM2bil have been seized nationwide involving a staggering 174,134 cases until Sept 14 this year, says Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail.

The Inspector-General of Police said the Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) detained a total of 189,788 individuals involving drug traffickers, suppliers, couriers and addicts.
