Abu Kassim: Constitutional amendments to empower MACC in the pipeline

National Centre for Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption (GIACC) director-general Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed said the government has agreed that the appointment and dismissal of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner should be handed over from the Prime Minister to the Special Parliamentary Special Select Committee.
He said this at the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Forum 2019 organised by the International Strategy Institute (ISI) on Thursday.
