Adib inquest: Family's lawyers call for police action, brother wants justice

Lawyers representing the family of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim expressed satisfaction over the verdict of the inquest into his death, and urged the police and Attorney-General (AG) to act accordingly.
Adib’s older brother, Muhammad Asyraf Mohd Kassim, who was also met by reporters outside the Shah Alam courts complex on Friday, said he was happy with the verdict but that more needs to be done to get justice for Adib.
Adib, who was a member of the EMRS Unit of the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Station, was seriously injured during a riot outside the temple on Nov 27 last year before succumbing to his injuries on Dec 17 at the National Heart Institute.
