During a question and answer session in the 2018 Anti-Corruption Summit on Tuesday, panelists which included Swiss whistleblower Xavier Justo, Immigration Department director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali and Good Governance Department director-general Datuk Dr Anis Yusal Yusof answered questions regarding whistleblowing in Malaysia.

The Immigration Department DG explained on the Whistleblower Protection Act and Witness Protection Act and advised a whistleblower to keep quiet after he or she exposed any wrongdoing on a superior or within an organisation in the hope of stopping it.
