Seventeen years after her youngest daughter was taken away, M. Indira Gandhi is still holding on to the hope that one day, she will be able to see her child again.

Her plea came after the Court of Appeal dismissed her appeal over a RM100mil lawsuit against the police, the Home Ministry and the government for allegedly failing to apprehend her former husband and recover her daughter, Prasana Diksa.
