Ahmad Faizal urges national athletes to speak up on any form of sexual assault

Youth and sports minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has dived into the sexual harassment controversy involving allegations from Olympic diver Pandelela Rinong and her former coach.
Ahmad Faizal said he has spoken to several individuals regarding the matter to have a better understanding of the situation.
This comes after the Tokyo Olympics silver medallist had claimed on Oct 21 that she had to endure a coach’s torrent of sexual jokes for seven years.
She said this on Twitter after an actor had glorified an unaired rape scene on a local talk show.
