Ahmad Maslan loses bid to strike off the charges of money-laundering, false statements charges

Former deputy finance minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan has failed in his bid to strike out charges of money laundering and providing false statements to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court Judge Azman Ahmad dismissed Ahmad Maslan’s application and ruled that such an action at this stage of the case was deemed as premature.
