Air Selangor: Brace for dry taps for at least four more days

Air Selangor chief executive officer Suhaimi Kamaralzaman on Friday said it would take a minimum of four days for water supply to be fully restored, following a recent contamination in Sungai Gong and Sungai Selangor that has disrupted the operation of water treatment plants in the area.
Suhaimi said the water treatment plants in Sungai Selangor Phases 1, 2, 3 and Rantau Panjang need to be at a contamination level of 0TON (threshold order number) before it is safe for consumption.
Currently the water contamination levels are at 1TON.
