AirAsia expects modest fare hikes but maintains low-cost positioning

Capital A Bhd chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said AirAsia fares may see a modest increase while remaining affordable, following the conflict in West Asia.

He said that the low-cost carrier will not cancel flights amid rising crude oil prices, as demand remains strong.
