All filming, even on social media, requires licence, says Saifuddin

Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah told the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (July 23) that all film production, whether from media outlets or personal media on traditional platforms or even social media, require a licence, in response to a question posed by Kluang MP Wong Shu Qi.
When Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil asked if Dr Dustin Pfundheller who produced a documentary that was aired on Bernama TV, had any licence, Saifuddin said that he would leave the matter to the authorities.
