Anwar did not reach out to GPS for support, says Sarawak CM

Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) was not asked to support PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for the prime minister's post, says Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Openg.
The Chief Minister told reporters after a meeting of GPS MPs at the Sarawak legislative assembly complex in Kuching on Wednesday (Aug 18) ahead of the 4pm deadline to submit statutory declarations to Istana Negara indicating who they support as prime minister.
