Anwar on Riza Aziz case: Stole 10 chickens? Just return one and you'll be fine

PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has questioned the government’s deal to grant a discharge not amounting to an acquittal to Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz on money laundering charges related to the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal.
“What we're arguing is whether it is reasonable for us to settle such a case with negotiations, and just pay a little. Let’s say if RM1bil was taken, return RM100mil and it’s settled.
“Tomorrow he steals 10 chickens, just return one chicken, and it’s settled, ” he said in a Facebook Live session on Wednesday.
