The Federal Court on Wednesday dismissed an application by a group of Sarawakian natives to review an earlier panel’s 2016 decision over native customary land rights known as pemakai menoa and pulau galau.
In a four-to-one majority, the bench ruled in favour of the Sarawak state government and provisional lease holder on grounds that the review application was more of an appeal rather than a judicial review.
