Asean must build resilient supply chains to navigate geostrategic shifts, says Anwar

Asean must strengthen its supply chain ecosystem to withstand emerging geostrategic challenges, including the recent tariffs imposed by the United States and retaliatory counter-tariffs, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Delivering his keynote address at the Asean Future Forum 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Wednesday (Feb 26), Anwar emphasised that the 10-member bloc must embrace a new trade integration model that aligns with global trends, particularly in environmental sustainability.
