Asian governments warn against U.S. trade tariffs

Asia's biggest exporters, including China and Japan, bristle over U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminium imports, fanning trade war fears.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday pressed ahead with the imposition of 25 percent tariffs on steel imports and 10 percent for aluminium though he announced exemptions for Canada and Mexico, and exceptions could also be made for other allies.
