Awareness of violence against women is increasing

The increase in cases of violence against women shows that there is a higher awareness among victims to come forward to make a report.

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said that although the figure may not reflect the entire real situation, it proves that women are now more courageous to seek help.
