Azam Baki: MACC opens at least 70 investigations papers on Penang JPJ officers-lorry protection racket case

The anti-graft agency has opened at least 70 investigations papers into the alleged lorry protection racket case involving Penang Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki said the probe was still ongoing, and would be completed once they finalised all the investigation papers.

Azam told reporters that at the closing ceremony of the anti-corruption training for officers of Thailand's National Anti-Corruption Commission on Tuesday, and said he expects some of the cases can be brought to court before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
