Badminton world number one Kento Momota is in "stable" condition after he was hospitalised following a pre-dawn vehicle collision on Monday.
The Japanese shuttler was with three other players en-route to the Putrajaya when the hired van they were in rammed into the rear of a truck on the Maju Expressway.
The driver of the van was killed in the 4am incident.
