Bella abuse case: High Court upholds 12-year jail sentence of Rumah Bonda founder

The High Court in Kuala Lumpur has affirmed the conviction and a 12-year jail sentence of Rumah Bonda founder, Siti Bainun Ahd Razali, for the neglect of a Down Syndrome teenager known as Bella, three years ago.
Datuk Khairul Anwar Rahmat, one of the lawyers appointed by the Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, to hold a watching brief in the case, told the press that Bella has not fully recovered from the abuse.
