Bomba chief: Firemen had to withdraw after temple crowd grew rowdy

Firemen responding to an emergency at the Sri Maha Mariamman temple had to withdraw from the area after the situation turned chaotic there early Tuesday.
Fire and Rescue Department Director General Datuk Mohamad Hamdan Wahid said firemen from Subang Jaya fire station were responding to a call about a burning vehicle where protests were ongoing over the relocation of the temple.
Mohamad Hamdan said that after visiting injured fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim at the Ramsay Sime Darby Medical Centre.
