Broga Hill hiking area to close from June 27 due to SOP non-compliance

The Broga Hill recreational area has been ordered to close due to non-compliance of Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) by visitors, says the Health Ministry.
In a statement on Thursday (June 25), Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said news that Broga Hill in Selangor was packed with visitors became viral, forcing the Health Ministry to order for the area to be shut down indefinitely from June 27 in accordance with Section 18 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.
Dr Noor Hisham also urged members of the public not to take SOPs and new norms lightly.
