Budget 2023: Women returning after 'career breaks' to get income tax exemptions for five years

Under Budget 2023, women who return to the workforce after a "career break" will be entitled to income tax exemptions for five years from 2023 to 2028.
Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said other benefits for women announced in Budget 2023 include an allocation of RM11mil for subsidies to undergo breast and cervical cancer screenings through mammograms and pap smears.
