Budget 2026: Full Tax Exemption for Taxi, E-Hailing Car Purchases

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that under Budget 2026, taxi and private hire car owners will receive 100% excise duty and sales tax exemptions for the purchase of new national cars from Proton and Perodua.
