Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the Ecological Fiscal Transfer (EFT) fund will be increased to RM270mil under Budget 2027, up from RM250mil this year.

The additional allocation is aimed at strengthening environmental conservation and encouraging community-based economic activities, including ecotourism.
