The government has agreed to provide 50 acres of strategic land in Kuala Lumpur, valued at RM1bil, as a new endowment for the Yayasan Pelaburan Bumiputra to strengthen Bumiputera ownership and economic development.

Tabling the Budget 2027 on Friday (Oct 9), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the land is proposed to be developed by Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), taking into account affordable housing needs and Bumiputera interests.
