Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Zulkifli Hasan welcomed the increased allocation for Islamic affairs under Budget 2027, which rises to RM3.1bil from RM2.6bil this year.

The funds will go towards strengthening religious institutions, supporting religious personnel and expanding Islamic education and outreach.
