Budget 2027: PETRONAS investments strengthen Malaysia’s energy security

Petroliam Nasional Bhd's (PETRONAS) expanded investments in Canada, Suriname and Turkmenistan would strengthen Malaysia’s position in the global energy market, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He said PETRONAS’ full ownership of the Pengerang Integrated Complex would reinforce its role as a strategic national asset and strengthen fuel supply security amid global market uncertainties.
