Budi Diesel to start on July 1 with 400,000 vehicle owners expected to benefit

Eligible private diesel vehicle owners can purchase subsidised diesel at RM2.10 per litre from July 1 under the Budi Madani Diesel programme, benefiting about 700,000 vehicle owners nationwide.

The government has also introduced a family subsidy transfer mechanism, additional fuel quotas for eligible pickup trucks and SUVs, and a three-month waiver on JPJ vehicle ownership transfer fees to ease the transition.
