Bukit Aman ready to assist, IGP says on water shortage

Bukit Aman is ever ready to assist relevant authorities in connection with the illegal dumping waste into manholes following the shutdown of water and sewage treatment plants in the Klang Valley over the weekend, says Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador.
The Inspector-General of Police said on Monday that the force is always open to cooperation with such authorities and informed that relevant authorities have various plans to solve the problem as well.
The IGP was asked to comment on the water shortage in the Klang Valley as a result of illegal dumping and subsequent shutdown of water treatment plants.
