Bus driver in Genting Highlands crash arrested

The driver of the tour bus that crashed on the way down from Genting Highlands at about 11am on Saturday (June 29) has been arrested, says Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.
The Tourism, Arts, and Culture Minister informed reporters on Sunday, after visiting eight victims being treated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, that the driver is under investigation for irregularities related to the incident, which claimed the lives of two Chinese nationals.
Tiong also mentioned that the ministry is investigating the involvement of any problematic agents in the incident and emphasised that they will not hesitate to suspend the licenses of any repeat offenders found responsible.
