Businessman arrested for allegedly raping teen daughter

Police arrested a 45-year-old businessman for allegedly raping his daughter numerous times at their home in Bukit Antarabangsa since early this year.
Ampang Jaya police chief ACP Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the rape incident had come to light after the police detained the victim at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) on Nov 1 for not having a travel permit under the Conditional Movement Control Order (MCO).
Mohamad Farouk said that the suspect was arrested on Nov 2 at his home and has been in remand since then for investigations under Section 376B of the Penal Code for incest, which carries a prison sentence up to 20 years and whipping upon conviction.
