Businessman claims trial to charge of bribing cop with RM45,000 in cash

A 47-year-old businessman claimed trial at the Johor Baru Magistrate's Court on Monday (Dec 7) to a charge of offering a RM45,000 bribe to a senior police officer in an attempt to avoid a urine test and compound during the conditional movement control order (MCO).
Samudin Kambali was accused of committing the offence at about 12.35am on Dec 2 at a night club in Jalan Kota Tinggi, Ulu Tiram.
