Businessman sentenced to 92 years jail, 44 strokes of rotan for cheating

A businessman was sentenced to 92 years jail and 44 strokes of rotan by the Sibu magistrate's court on Thursday after pleading guilty to 44 charges of cheating.
However, the accused, Ling Tzer Sheng, 29, only has to serve 40 months imprisonment after Magistrate Muhammad Faizal Che Saad ordered that the sentences run concurrently but the 44 strokes of rotan still stand.
