Cabinet Committee to elevate Putrajaya Festival of Ideas to national event, says Zambry

The Cabinet Committee formed to elevate the Putrajaya Festival of Ideas (PFOI) to a national event will involve multiple ministries, says Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.

Speaking at a press conference following the PFOI appreciation ceremony and the presentation of the ministry’s annual achievement report on Monday (Dec 16), Zambry confirmed that the ministry will continue as the lead secretariat but the initiative's oversight will be elevated to a Cabinet Committee, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister.
