Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on the sidelines of the Asean Summit in Kuala Lumpur, where both leaders discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, education, and energy sectors on Monday (Oct 27).

During their meeting, Carney commended Anwar's commitment to peace and multilateralism, particularly in relation to Asean's enlargement and the resolution of the Cambodia-Thailand border dispute.
