Cancer survivor graduates as top student in class

Cancer survivor Muhammad Asif Shaik Saffarudin is a step closer to achieving his ambition of becoming an engineer after graduating as the top student in his class with a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics, majoring in Telecommunications from Multimedia University (MMU) on Saturday (Dec 7).
Muhammad Asif was diagnosed with early acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when he was only 10 years old and was declared cancer-free when he was 17.
