‘Cat wash’ man charged, sent to Hospital Bahagia for evaluation

An unemployed man, who was captured on CCTV allegedly drowning three cats in a washing machine at a laundrette last Sunday, has been charged under the Animal Welfare Act 2015.
Muhammad Najwan Zulkefli, 24, pleaded not guilty in the Selayang Sessions Court on Thursday to cruelly subjecting the felines to pain and suffering.
