Ceiling price of face masks will be further reduced from RM1.20

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi said the ceiling price for face masks would be further reduced from the already lowered price of RM1.20.
He said this in response to a question from Kota Melaka MP Khoo Poay Tiong, who asked if the government will lower the ceiling price of face masks to lessen the public’s burden.
Previously, the ceiling price for face masks was announced to be reduced to RM1.20 from RM1.50 per unit beginning Aug 15.
